Position Description Summary
The Construction Inspector will be supporting of Capital Improvement Aviation Programs.

Essential Job Duties

Construction Inspector:

1. Must have experience with Runway and Taxiway construction.
2. Must have experience with soils and subgrade work.
3. Must have experience with underground utilities
4. Must have experience with airfield painting and markings.
5. Must have experience with Asphalt P401 and P501 PCCP construction methods.
6. Will need to possess AOA and RACCI icons to perform their duties.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Level:

• High school diploma (or equivalent).

Professional Licenses & Certification:

• 30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment. The 30-hour training will have been received within the last 4 years.

Minimum Years and Experience:

• 5 years or more of experience performing as a LADBS Deputy Building Inspector large scale Public Works type projects.

Pay range for this position is $65.90/hr - $80.50/hr.  The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
