Overview

E2 is hiring a Construction Logistics Specialist III for aviation projects:

  • Attends Terminal, roadway, and airfiled project meetings to assess time and space schedule impacts across the CIP program.
  • Review new projects for time and space conflicts, impacts to ongoing construction projects and operational impacts.
  • Conduct Reviews of projects’ submittals Phasing Plan and Site Logistics Plans, as submitted through the ASR and LIR process.
    Comment and schedule site walks as needed.
  • Leads assessments of program logistics and creates reports and communication regarding logistics on multiple projects. Actively oversees ongoing logistics and changes.

Responsibilities

 

Essential Job Duties

1. Specialist at ensuring consistency across all communication materials, promoting a cohesive brand and clear messaging in materials related to construction impacts, and airport-wide updates on multiple projects.
2. Proactively identifies construction-related logistical impacts for potential media exposure and collaborates with Public Relations to provide accurate construction impact data and graphics, supporting external communication efforts.
3. Manages and maintains contact information and distribution lists ensuring up-to-date communication flow among stakeholders airport wide.
4. Experienced in developing, designing, and proofreading materials for public campaigns, and advertising related to Capital Improvement Projects.
5. Manages the centralized website for road construction updates for the public.
6. Attends multiple daily meetings to gather project updates with a strong aptitude for converting technical language into layman’s terms for distribution in bulletins, newsletters, and weekly updates for both internal and external audiences.
7. Expert at interpreting design plans, maps, and construction schedules.
8. Skilled at generating weekly ground transportation maps, producing monthly newsletters, and managing the construction hotline, summarizing monthly hotline reports.
9. Work with project managers and contractors to address signage and barricade discrepancies across all construction projects.
10. Collaborates effectively with third-party entities, internal branding teams, and guest experience councils, providing timely updates, managing construction impact walks, and ensuring streamlined communications.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access, PowerPoint) and adept at combining and formatting multiple digital file types for clear presentation.
12. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator or similar software for map creation and visual materials.
13. The candidate shall pass the federal background check and LAWA Badge is required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 15 years or more experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs.
  • Relevant Professional Licensure &/or Certifications are strongly preferred. (Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc)

Wage Data Per State Requirements

Pay range for this position is $68.10/hr - $83.30/hr.  The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
