E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced distribution system planning engineer to support a major utility client in San Diego by providing planning, analysis, and project integration services across client’s electric distribution system. This role is responsible for system planning studies, capacity assessments, integration of distributed energy resources (DER), and development of projects to improve grid reliability, safety, and compliance with regulatory mandates. The position requires close collaboration with SDG&E planning engineers, project managers, and operations teams to evaluate system needs and develop solutions. The successful candidate will report to the distribution engineering manager.

Salary range for this position is $95,000 - $130,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill level, education, experience, and working environment.
