E2 is seeking a Senior Engineer with an active California Professional Engineer license to serve as the Engineer of Record for a temporary hydrogen production and microgrid pilot project located in Oakland, California.
The project is a pilot project and will involve hydrogen generation for transportation applications and integration with a microgrid. The hydrogen generation system is anticipated to include a Teledyne electrolyzer powered by approximately 4,160-volt, three-phase electrical service.
The Engineer of Record will provide technical oversight throughout the demolition, site preparation, electrical interconnection, installation, startup, commissioning, and operational phases of the project.
The assignment is anticipated to begin in October 2026 and work may be performed primarily remotely, with periodic travel to the Oakland project site during key phases of execution.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 annually. The starting salary will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience, licensure, technical capabilities, and assigned responsibilities.
