The Distribution Inspector is to inspect and ensure that all construction activities are performed within a client required project scope of work (SOW), specifications, procedures, codes, standards, and safety requirements. This position requires constant communication in a high paced environment while contractors are working in restricted space and ROW areas within public and private property. Accurate and detailed communication is a must in this position and will be utilized daily for record keeping and progress tracking.

Provide engineering support to superintendents and crafts, verifies materials, equipment, workmanship and assures results meet design requirements. Assure construction activities are executed in a safe manner with the highest quality standards possible while monitoring the cost and schedule of any given work activity.

The Estimator will work with a Team Lead to develop cost estimate from conceptual design through construction; monitor and reconcile the cost estimate as the design progresses; participate in pre-award value engineering and constructability review discussions; and once the contract is awarded, will review change order proposals, develop a fair and reasonable recommendation, participate in negotiation of changes with the contractor, and prepare the record of negotiation documentation.
This position requires to be in the office two days a week.

We entrust our tester / inspectors with observing, recording, and measuring the effectiveness of cathodic protection (CP) systems as they perform their duties per client specifications, international standards, and codes.
