E2 is looking for a Senior Transmission Line engineer to join our team in Southern California (remote work is also available) to support several major electric utility clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing Transmission and Distribution Line projects using PLS-CADD Software. The position will work under the direction of the Transmission Engineering Manager.
The technical advisor will join the project execution team in a major natural gas pipeline industry client to provide technical support in the deployment and commissioning of new sensing equipment installed across the client’s gas Transmission pipeline network. This is a field position that may require traveling throughout Southern California service territories with overnight stays as needed. This is a hybrid position with a remote work setting and occasional office days are expected.
The purpose of the Coating Inspector is to provide inspection of contractor’s quality of work in accordance with the client’s policies and procedures as it relates to coating of steel pipe and fittings on pipeline construction projects. The Coating Inspector works under the direction of the Chief Inspector, who may assign additional responsibilities to the Inspector as needed. The Coating Inspector, at the direction of the Chief Inspector, may be asked to double as the Utility Inspector if qualified and within reason given scope of the project.
